If you purchase resold Debenture Tickets for the All England Lawn Tennis Championships at Wimbledon you are taking a massive gamble on the weather. The “Raincheck” policy operated by Wimbledon pays out no more than the face value of the tickets and then only to the original purchasers of the tickets. Holders of resold Debenture Tickets therefore receive nothing back even if there is no play whatsoever.
